Elegance is when the outside is as beautiful as the inside
CARPE DIEM’s 34’ / 10m beam translates into fantastic exterior deck spaces. In addition to space, the owner’s brief called for custom furniture with an interior feel for the exterior decks. The result is extraordinarily elegant, uniting the outdoor and indoor areas.
Let’s start from the 130 sqm / 1,400 sq ft sun deck. Built for summer relaxation, one could happily spend a day here while cruising. There is a forward-facing whirlpool surrounded by sun pads, comfortable seating and a bar sheltered by the sundeck’s hardtop amidships while the aft section is set up as a gym. There is a shower and a day bathroom in the arch.

UPPER DECK
Designed for entertaining, the upper deck is divided into two areas. A dining table for 12, with beautiful white leather and stainless chairs is forward. The area over the dining table is airconditioned for added comfort. Three square coffee tables facing deep, comfortable seating, upholstered in silvery grey, are aft. The leather on the tables has been treated so it is heat and humidity resistant. On the starboard side, an elegant teak and stainless-steel staircase links the upper deck to the sun and main decks.

MAIN DECK AND PORTUGUESE LOUNGE
The main deck aft, the first area you enter when arriving on board, makes a statement. Designed as an outdoor drawing room with Macassar ebony furniture, inviting soft grey sofas, and a wet bar with its face upholstered in tufted white leather, sets the tone for what to expect.
An intimate Portuguese lounge has been built into the foredeck. The seating, decorated in a grey and white modernist fabric, is raised above the anchor deck and enjoys splendid views forward. Two wave runners and two seabobs are stored on the bow.

SWIM PLATFORM
Twin teak staircases lead down from the main deck aft to the swim platform. Surprisingly spacious at 50 sqm / 538 sqf, it can be set up with deck furniture for water games. The central door leads to the lazarette which is used as a storage area.
